Holds a Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, with an interest in the many applications of chemistry and in broadening my own scientific knowledge. I aim to present chemistry in a simple yet rich way, and through my membership of STEAMomentos to help spread scientific knowledge and grow interest in the sciences.

Holds a Master's degree in analytical chemistry and works at the National Water Company. I believe in simplifying science and sharing knowledge, and through the Chemistry Department at STEAMomentos I aim to produce trustworthy scientific content that strengthens scientific literacy.

Holds a Bachelor's degree in Chemistry and is a member of the Chemistry Department at STEAMomentos. My interests centre on energy and catalysis, and I aim to use my scientific background to deepen my own knowledge of chemistry and to help enrich scientific content across STEAM fields.

Holds a Bachelor's degree in applied chemistry, with a passion for science and for serving the community, and a belief that scientific knowledge should be available to everyone in clear, simple language. I contribute to the Chemistry Department at STEAMomentos, aiming to present chemistry in a way that brings science closer to everyone.

A Master's student in chemistry at King Abdullah University of Science and Technology (KAUST), a member of its ACS Chapter, and a graduate of the KAUST Academy energy programme. I am interested in chemistry and its applications, and through STEAMomentos I aim to use my scientific background to enrich chemistry content and share it enjoyably.

Makkah

Holds a Bachelor's degree in industrial chemistry, with experience delivering applied projects that have included production process development and wastewater treatment. I am interested in applying industrial chemistry to improve processes and product quality, alongside quality, health and safety, and I aim to use my background to build practical solutions and support innovation across STEAM fields.

Abdullah Alqahtani

A University of California, Berkeley graduate with a Bachelor's degree in data science, and passionate about astrophysics and space science. I have experience in data science and technical product management, alongside a number of student, community and leadership programmes including Computer Science Mentors and the Misk Fellowship. I aim to bring my data science experience and my interest in science and space to spreading knowledge and inspiring the next generation across STEAM fields.

Lubna Al Rabie

Physics Department Member

Riyadh

Holds a Bachelor's degree in astrophysics from the University of California, Berkeley, and is a Misk Foundation fellow (seventh cohort), with experience in scientific research, space science, data analysis and computational methods. I worked on astronomical research at Berkeley covering data analysis and the study of star formation and exoplanets, alongside experience in data analysis, modelling and simulation with Python and SQL. I was also a Kingdom-level finalist in the NASA International Space Apps Challenge. My interests centre on astrophysics, planetary defence and data analysis, and through STEAMomentos I aim to bring my scientific and technical experience to enriching scientific content and supporting research and development across STEAM fields.

Holds a Bachelor's degree in physics and a Master's in radiation physics. My interests centre on applied and radiation physics, particularly medical applications of radiation, and I have experience in scientific research, experimental studies and simulation using specialist tools. I aim to use my scientific background to deepen my knowledge, contribute to inventive scientific and medical applications, and help share knowledge across STEAM fields.

Holds a Bachelor's degree in physics and works as a teaching specialist at Alfaisal University, where I help develop the learning experience in physics and mathematics courses. I have a research background in energy and advanced materials, and an interest in innovation, project management and data analysis. I aim to use my scientific experience to enrich knowledge of physics and to build scientific and educational initiatives with real impact across STEAM fields.

Najran

Holds a Bachelor's degree in physics, with an interest in physics, mathematics and the relationship between them from both a scientific and a philosophical angle. I have theoretical research experience in particle physics, with interests in dark matter, high-intensity laser physics and high harmonic generation, alongside experience presenting programmes and courses and competing in scientific competitions. Through STEAMomentos I aim to spread science, strengthen scientific literacy and help build a more scientifically aware community.

Holds a Bachelor's degree in microbiology from Taif University and a Master's in genetics from King Abdulaziz University, and works at the University of Jeddah as a genetics laboratory specialist. My research interests centre on microbiology and microbial genetics.

A respiratory therapy specialist and clinical research coordinator, interested in biomedical science and research across pathology, genetics and molecular biology, alongside respiratory and critical care medicine, biotechnology and recent pharmaceutical advances.

A data science undergraduate at Lancaster University in the United Kingdom, interested in analysing data and turning it into information that supports decisions and planning. My interests centre on financial analysis and using data to improve performance and financial outcomes, and I am also drawn to data science in motorsport, particularly driver performance analysis and strategy. I aim to develop my skills and apply data science to keep pace with rapid technical change and contribute to innovation across STEAM fields.

Holds a Bachelor's degree in interior design engineering and is a member of the Art Department at STEAMomentos. I am interested in art and design, and believe creativity and the arts belong in how content is presented — bringing beauty and scientific value together.

I am passionate about art in all its forms, and particularly about visual art and Arab-Islamic art for how they express ideas and feeling visually. I aim to bring that passion to enriching content and presenting it in inventive visual ways.

I have represented the Kingdom at local and international events and won several local and global awards, took part in Misk's 10X emerging leaders programme, and served as local lead for the NASA hackathon in Madinah in 2025. As a member of the Art Department at STEAMomentos I aim to bring creativity and art to presenting content in new ways.

My work centres on inventing and developing advanced materials, improving their performance and widening their industrial applications, with an interest in connecting engineering concepts to practical use. I aim to bring my research and engineering experience to innovation and sustainability, and to supporting scientific knowledge across STEAM fields.

Holds a doctorate in zoology and molecular biology from King Saud University; a researcher and academic with experience in scientific research and teaching. I am interested in applying artificial intelligence and innovation to advancing science, and my interests centre on the life and environmental sciences. Through STEAMomentos I aim to use my scientific experience to spread scientific literacy and support STEAM fields.

Holds a doctorate in analytical chemistry, has lectured at the University of Aleppo since 2011, and researches bioinformatics. I have academic and research experience in analytical chemistry, with an interest in chromatographic and spectroscopic separation techniques and their applications. I aim to use that experience to support scientific knowledge and develop inventive chemical and technical solutions that keep pace with rapid change across STEAM fields.

Anas Balgheeth Qalas

A Master's student in engineering science at Universiti Tunku Abdul Rahman (UTAR), holding a Bachelor's degree with honours in materials engineering from Universiti Malaysia Perlis (UniMAP). My research began during my undergraduate studies in the field of batteries, where I contributed to a project that produced a patent in solid electrolyte fabrication. I now focus on advanced solar energy technologies, specifically interface engineering for high-efficiency perovskite solar cells, combining hands-on experiments with computational tools to improve cell efficiency and stability. Through my membership of STEAMomentos I aim to share my passion for scientific research and energy technologies, and to help enrich scientific content and spread knowledge.

I have creative skills in design and visual communication, with a particular interest in infographic design and in making scientific and medical information visually clear. I aim to bring those skills and my healthcare background to producing clear, engaging scientific content across STEAM fields.

Holds a Bachelor's degree in biochemistry from King Abdulaziz University, with a talent for voice-over and delivery, and works as a voice artist within STEAMomentos alongside an interest in science and STEAM fields.
